Opening an account is a prerequisite for performing company banking transactions. Opening a Start account is sufficient for payments to the account necessary for founding a company, and after submission of a certified copy of register data it will be changed into a Current account. Opening a Start account and a Current account are free of charge in Danske Bank.

The bank will issue a unique identifier for every client for the purpose of identifying the account. In Danske Bank, the unique identifier is an account number conforming to a national Estonian or international account number standard (IBAN).

We advise you to use the account balancing service to make managing the cash held in different current accounts easier, as the service allows you to give orders about monitoring the balance of an account in Danske Bank and making automatic transfers to another account in Danske Bank or in another bank.

Companies with subsidiaries that need a good overview of the financial status of the whole group can conveniently centralise all the accounts of the company in a Business group account.

An Escrow account will allow for organisation of large-scale transactions of purchase and sale such as mergers and acquisitions, purchase and sale of real estate, etc., under the control of the bank as the third party. Payments from the amounts paid to the Escrow account will only be executed according to the terms and conditions specified in the Escrow account contract.

In case you also wish to trade securities by mediation of Danske Bank, you will need a Securities account in addition to the Current account.
